William Shatner becomes the oldest person to go to space.
Ninety-year-old William Shatner, who gained fame portraying Captain Kirk on the original “Star Trek,” just hitched a ride aboard a suborbital spacecraft that grazed the edge of outer space before parachuting to a landing, making Shatner the oldest person ever to travel to space.

With him were three crewmates: Chris Boshuizen, a co-founder of satellite company Planet Labs, and software executive Glen de Vries, who each paid an estimated 250000 dollars to fly, and Audrey Powers, Blue Origin’s vice president of mission and flight operations.

It was a quick trip; The trip did not go exactly as the interplanetary jaunts Shatner captained during his acting career. New Shepard’s flight lasted just ten minutes from takeoff to landing and gave the passengers about three minutes of weightlessness.

When the capsule touched down in the Texan desert, it was quickly surrounded by ground teams. Mr. Bezos himself opened the hatch to check everyone inside was OK.

After the immediate celebrations with family and friends, the crew then lined up to receive their Blue Origin astronaut pins.

Here is the latest update on Starbase BocaChica.
