How this union relates to Tesla is pretty evident when you visit the website. I wonder if Elon created it. If it’s not Elon Musk, it is someone who wants to see Tesla and its employees benefit from a unique workers union — one that Tesla employees would actually favor

  1. Elon, Would it not be to Tesla's benefit to manufacture cars and or parts in Canada and then ship them Stateside or Worldwide and take advantage of the discounted Canadian dollar and exceptional experienced auto workers in Ontario. I would not be surprised to see a few car manufacturers in Canada ( Ontario ) moving due to your influence on their market's as in shrinkage. You might give this some thought. Cheers Dave ( [email protected]bell.net )

  2. As others have already stated, this is old "news" that continues to get spread around the internet by click bait titles on videos. Here is something to keep in mind: "A company or 'yellow' union is a worker organization which is dominated or influenced by an employer, and is therefore not an independent trade union. Company unions are contrary to international labour law. They were outlawed in the United States by the 1935 National Labor Relations Act due to their use as agents for interference with independent unions."

  3. If I worked for Tesla, I would be voting against the union. all they do is take money and cap how much you can make. I was part of a union for a warehouse. I helped vote the union out because good workers could not get raises because union caped the pay, so good workers always leave for better paying jobs.

Unions are an outdated model that should be gotten rid of. All they do is take a cut from your paycheck and give it to Democrat politicians, which pass laws that hurt you. getting bigger tax credit (if it passes) isn't worth the long term cost. If I worked for Tesla, I would vote against being unionized.

  4. Members of the United States Government have outdone themselves in a "legal" attempt to slow Tesla so others can "Catch Up". EVs "assembled" in a Stateside Land Factory would get a substantial "Time Of Sale" rebate – ONLY if the company was unionized. Tesla workers have voted several times against unionizing – they would net LESS rights, privileges and money. The NOTA Union is for ALL American Workers building EVs AND the top brass pay is capped at MINIMUM WAGE (stock options OK as bosses will work to raise values). Can't believe no Goverment big brain didn't see this ahead of time.
