  2. I have the RV Version and it works well. I am deploying for about a year and will probably "pause" the service. So more than likely my Starlink will be "bricked". It's gonna be an expensive brick unless I keep it on and pay the $130 for a year while Im gone.

  3. I just got my Starlink dish and am pretty disappointed. While my daytime download speed is usually around 50 and up is around 5 to 10 it is barely useable during peak hours (5PM to 10PM). The speeds rarely get above 8 down and 2 up an are most often below 5 down and 2 up. I have only once seen above 100 (120 ish actually) down once during daytime hours and never more than 12 up. I have had it running for about 3 days so far

  4. You need get a hold home lightly sure and also battery back up too it is to put in in your breaker box and not that hi.

  5. Thanks for the important heads up, I have Starlink at a vacation home and I was going to just turn off juice as normal when I close for winter. Now I know I got to keep one circuit hot so I don’t brick. I had already anticipated paying for service over the winter so I don’t lose my spot but never considered system updates.

  6. its recommeneded, that the timer should be set for 1.5 days , if the customer can afford the electricity and power, the dish should be turned on for over 1 day to prevent format downloads. i say this, only becuase it is what we have done for other electronic devices we have had historically. it allows the program to download, run, restart ( if forced to via the new update) and alows the system to send any immediate firmware patches due to unexpected update issues.. .. i only say this, due to past experiences with other computer items. we got in the habbit of establishing.. we called it the " microsoft update curse" becuase honestly.. how many times did an update fail the first time from mircosoft?? lol.. a lot. and they would send out an imediate patch.. my parent ran a small computer repair buisness for over 20= yrs, and they dealt with the summer / winter shut down a lot.. as a teenager i was always sent out to "restart" the stuff and go back the next day and turn it off.. .. i am ONLY basding ym experience off of windows microsft crap.. not starlink.. the 24+ hr long timer seems to make sense though.. as ALWAYS- YOUR VIDEOS ARE AWESOME, AND I WISH U WERE MY NIEGHBOR! witer is comming, and i cant wait to update u on the " defrost" capabilites of our Starlink..lol

  7. ♥️𝗧𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮𝗱𝘂𝗹𝘁 𝗽𝗼𝗿𝗻 𝘃𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗼𝘀 𝗼𝗻𝗹𝘆❤️ Alles sehr schön. Aber zuerst zusammen die Nummern 10 und 1. Eine pas36.Online Brünette und eine andere Blondine. Es wäre unfairz, wenn ich 4 wählen würde

  8. What about off grid paces we leave our camp December and can't get back in till late March early April?
We turn off our inverter to save the batteries during this time,
Has anyone hacked power cube to run it on dc directly.

  9. People who tried to game the system didn’t read the find print. I can understand Starlink position – people are waiting 8-14 months to get original service.

  10. How long would it take for a dish to be old enough to not be able to update? That seems really dumb if true. I can update a really old ipad to a new version of iOS, why wouldn't the dish be able to update after sitting for a while unused?

  11. This is terrible: Kind of like leaving your seat in a packed theater to use the restroom or snack bar .
The house ushers see the empty seat, then they sell it to another waiting at the door . You come back to see someone else in your seat, .
You then have to buy a new ticket and wait for another movie time. This is a travesty.

  12. Been on the wait list for residential service for over a year. Ordered the RV version (to use at home) and order was confirmed and will receive in a week! 😮
