CUGH 2021 Satellite: Global Ideas for Local Challenges: A Learning Network to Advance Health Equity

Part of the CUGH 2021 Virtual Conference in March 2021
Satellite Organizer: University of Maryland Baltimore

Global learning (GL), reverse innovation, global to local, multi-directional learning . . . the need to share the best evidence-based ideas across borders has never been more obvious or more needed. Join an interactive session to support the creation of a global learning network. Participants will learn about a RWJF funded project to create a Global Learning to Advance Health Equity Network and Framework. The framework will advance how to translate global based-solutions to address pressing health equity issues in the US; understand the concerns of decision makers and other stakeholders; and overcome barriers to dissemination and implementation of health equity research. Hear from those engaged in GL projects, share your experiences and questions, and provide feedback at the early stages of framework creation.
